This Sunday the Adult Education Program at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church will be devoted to a remembrance of the life and work of Nelson Mandela, who died last week at the age of 95.

Nancy Wilkinson, a member of the St. Francis congregation, will share a short documentary of Mandela’s life, as well as some of her memories from her trips to South Africa and several interviews she conducted with various friends and colleagues of the former president.

This discussion will take place at 11:45 in the Church Center, right after the three Celebration services at 7:45, 9 and 10:30 a.m., respectively.

Coffee and refreshments will be provided and everyone is welcome.

St. Francis in the Foothills is at 4625 E. River Road, at North Swan Road. For more information call the church office at 299-9063.
