The adult education program at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church will present a discussion of depression, what it is and what can be done about it, on Sunday.

The discussion will be led by Terry Badger, professor and division director, Community and Systems Health Science, College of Nursing at the University of Arizona. It will begin at 11 a.m. in the Church Center.

Badger will discuss the myths surrounding depression and present facts about this debilitating condition. She also will discuss how to determine if someone you know has depression by reviewing its signs and symptoms, and provide advice about how you can help them.

The talk is free and open to the public.
