St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church is participating in the Tucson-wide Operation Hospitality program in which various churches provide shelter for homeless folks on the cold nights of winter.

St. Francis, at 4625 E. River Road, provides a warm place to sleep and hot meals every Tuesday night in December, January and February.

This is a good opportunity for volunteers to help those in need, meet interesting people and learn about their lives, points of view and hopes and needs.

Hosts are always needed; to volunteer call the church at 299-9063.
