Mary Stafford will lead a two-part presentation of the Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) program at 11:45 a.m. Sunday and Nov. 10 at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, 4625 E. River Road, at North Swan Road.

The first class will focus on a variety of techniques for quickly and simply releasing stress. These techniques aim to help people clear up past traumatic experiences, phobias and anxieties, and serve as lifelong skills for emotional freedom.

The second class will deal with questions people have after using the EFT skills in their everyday lives during the week, as well as sharing individual experiences. The session also will focus on using EFT for weight loss. Finally, an effort will be made to facilitate users of EFT in helping others, even people who are living far from Tucson.

Stafford holds a master’s degree in education and is a certified EFT instructor.

The classes are free and open to the public. For more information call the church office at 299-9063.
