"Theology from a scientific perspective," a series of talks by Thomas Lindell in the Adult Education program at St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church, wraps up Sunday.

Lindell will conclude the series by addressing the question of how to practice theology from a scientific perspective.

Because science is based on facts and projections therefrom, and religious language is based on stories, myths and speculations, where does that leave religious thought or theology? Lindell will seek to explain the complex relationship among science, religion and theology.

His talk, at 11 a.m., will be held in the center at St. Francis in the Foothills.

The talk is free and open to the public.

St. Francis in the Foothills is at 4625 E. River Road, at North Swan Road. For more information, call the church office at 299-9063.
