Conductor László Veres, in 2010, will once again set a patriotic tone at Sunday’s concert.

For the 27th year, the Arizona Symphonic Winds will present “Honoring All Who Served,” a concert to mark Veterans Day.

The concert, which is free, will start at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Catalina Foothills High School auditorium, 4300 E. Sunrise Drive.

Arizona Symphonic Winds is a community concert band directed by László Veres.

Consisting of 65 volunteer musicians, the group has been presenting concerts in the Tucson area for more than 27 years. The soloist for Sunday’s concert will be harpist Christine Vivona,

who performs both classical and jazz music.

Main musical selections will include “Heroes, Lost and Fallen,” “Capriccio Espagnole” and “Armed Forces Salute.”

Selected marches by John Philip Sousa will be played as encores.
