Meet the authors of “The Horse Lover” 5-7 p.m. at the Madaras Gallery, 3001 E. Skyline Drive. Alan Day and Lynn Wiese Sneyd discuss their new book, “The Horse Lover: A Cowboy’s Quest to Save the Wild Mustangs.” Free. 615-3001.

2. Tuesday

On Tuesday evenings St. Francis in the Foothills United Methodist Church offers “laughter yoga,” which includes breathing, yogic exercises and, of course, laughter. It’s 6-7 p.m. in Room 30-31 at the church, 4625 E. River Road. Free; donations accepted. 490-5500.

3. Wednesday

Volunteer Naturalist Ned Harris guides a walk 8:30-11:30 a.m. through Sabino Canyon over moderately difficult trails. Meet in front of the Visitor Center, 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road. The walk is free; parking is $5. 749-8700.

Hear all about mountain lions at a talk 11 a.m.-noon at Sabino Canyon, 5700 N. Sabino Canyon Road. The talk is free; parking is $5. 749-8700.

5. Daily

If you’ve never been to the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun, you might want to head there to view the “Way of the Cross” annual exhibit of Ted DeGrazia‘s paintings that depict the suffering and crucifixion of Christ. The gallery, 6300 N. Swan Road, is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. every day; the exhibit runs through May 28. Free. 299-9191.
