Facebook 101 is the next free class for Arizona Daily Star subscribers.

Irene McKisson, the Star’s social media editor, will share tips on creating a Facebook profile, understanding privacy settings, sharing and how to use Facebook groups.

The first one-hour session is set for June 22 at 1 p.m. at Casas Adobes Congregational Church, 6801 N. Oracle Road. That’s between West Orange Grove and West Ina roads, on the west side of Oracle.

A second class is scheduled for June 24 at 1 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 601 S. Tucson Blvd. That’s between East Broadway and East 22nd Street, on the east side of Tucson Boulevard.

Seating is limited, so registration is required at azstarnet.com/starworkshops

Our free Connect Me Local classes for Star subscribers will take a break in July and resume in late August when sports editor Ryan Finley and his team will discuss football.

Other fall classes will feature outdoors writer Doug Kreutz, gardening blogger Sue Billings and artists Chiara Bautista and Tammie Graves. Stay tuned for more details in late July.
