An Arizona physician whose research was recently featured on “60 Minutes” will give a free lecture in Tucson on Tuesday night.

Dr. Eric Reiman, who is executive director of the Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, will give a talk titled “Preserving Memories: What It Will Take to End Alzheimer’s,” at 5:30 p.m. at the Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, 3800 E. Sunrise Drive. The public is invited.

Reiman is a University of Arizona professor of psychiatry and director of the Arizona Alzheimer’s Consortium. His talk is expected to discuss the latest research and interventions into Alzheimer’s disease. His research was the topic of a “60 Minutes” television segment in November.
