Gift shop associate: Create a congenial atmosphere and provide excellent customer service while maintaining the day-to-day operations of the gift shops at one of two medical center locations. Tasks include: selling merchandise, restocking shelves and unpacking products. Gift shops are open 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday-Sunday.
Office support partner: If you like people, are patient, kind and compassionate and have good listening skills, please give us a call. We need assistance in our hospice administrative office answering phones and helping with light office duties. The schedule is flexible. Volunteers must attend an on-site orientation, have a background check and a TB skin test and pass a drug screening, all at our cost.
Grant-writer specialist: Do you have experience writing grants? We are helping individuals with Parkinson's and need help seeking grant funding to continue providing group exercise classes, buying equipment, hosting conferences, and providing education and training.
Grounds and landscaping enthusiast: Grounds work is varied in these 26 acres of trees, shrubs, flowers, an orchard, patios, driveways and desert pathways. From raking, trimming and weeding, to picking pecans and citrus and pruning trees, there is always something to be done. Gardening tools are provided. Volunteer for a one-time project or a few hours per week/month. This is a peaceful, quiet environment that is tobacco-free and pet-free.
