Downtown docent: Welcome visitors to Downtown and provide information about restaurants, parking, shops and nightlife. Volunteers receive training about the area and are asked to volunteer at a minimum of two events a year.

Care team coordinator: Act as a liaison between a health-program coordinator and members of patient-care teams. This involves reporting to the program coordinator, facilitating team meetings and acting as a resource to the team. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and have good communication and meeting-facilitation skills. Orientation and training are provided.

Emergency program assistant: Verify and evaluate information and determine the eligibility of individuals requesting emergency financial help. Serve as an advocate with service providers or vendors. Create case plans and do follow-up. Volunteers must be at least 18, pass a background check and qualify for a DPS Fingerprint Clearance card.

Honor veterans: Help respect veterans in hospice with a certificate, a pin, a word of thanks and a military musical salute. Hospice training is provided.
