One of the founders of the Libertarian Party, David Nolan, died today at age 66

Nolan, a Tucson resident who ran for John McCain’s senate seat in this year’s election, wanted to end the personal income tax and cut federal spending by 50 percent. 

According to the Libertarian Party’s website, the party was founded in 1971 in Nolan’s living room.
