Students in the Vail School District have organized two debates for Thursday night, with Republican candidates in Congressional District 2 and Legislative District 14 expected to participate.

The student-organized forum, with cooperation from the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson and the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce, will be at Empire High School, 10701 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way.

An official with the school district confirmed all six Republican candidates in the two races have confirmed they will be at the debate.

The LD14 House debate starts at 5:30 p.m. and the CD2 debate starts at 7 p.m.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the event is open to the public.
