Early voting is underway for school-district elections and Vail’s proposed incorporation.
Ballots were mailed Thursday for voters listed on the permanent early voting list in Vail, Catalina Foothills School District and Sunnyside School District.
Ballots for every registered voter in the Altar Valley School District were also mailed on Thursday.
The Pima County Recorder’s Office asks voters to allow a few days to receive ballots before contacting it.
Even if you’re not registered on the permanent early voting list, you still have options to cast your ballot before the Nov. 5 election:
You can vote early at any of the following Recorder Office’s sites:
• Downtown at 115 N. Church Ave.
• East side at 6920 E. Broadway, Suite D.
• South side at 6550 S. Country Club Road.
Or you may order a vote-by-mail ballot by visiting the Recorder Office’s website at www.recorder.pima.gov and click on the link for “Early Ballot Request,” or download a request form to mail in. You may also order a ballot by phone at 724-4330.
All vote-by-mail ballot requests must be received by the Recorder’s Office no later than 5 p.m. Oct. 25.
City residents won’t receive their ballots until late next week.
The City Clerk’s Office will mail ballots to every registered Tucson voter beginning Thursday.
