Tucson will host the first Republican primary gubernatorial candidate forum for Tucson this Wednesday. 

Organized by the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson and Arizona Public Media, all six candidates have been invited to participate.

The forum, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Proscenium Theatre at the Center for the Arts on the west campus of Pima Community College, will be moderated by Lorraine Rivera. She is the host of Arizona Public Media’s Arizona Week.

The forum will be streamed live at AZPM's web site and available on demand until August 26.

Those wanting to attend the candidate forum must register for tickets at either lwvgt.org or azpm.org. All tickets will be distributed on Wednesday night.

AZPM will broadcast the forum on the following channels, dates and times:

PBS 6: Monday, August 4, 6 - 7 p.m.

World: Monday, August 4, 9 – 10 p.m. &

Monday, August 11, 5 – 6 p.m.

UA Channel: Monday, August 4, 8 – 9 p.m. &

Monday, August 11, 6 – 7 p.m.

NPR 89.1: Monday, August 4, 7 - 8 p.m.
