About one in five ballots mailed to Marana and Sahuarita voters for the towns’ primary elections have been returned with one week left until Election Day.

Voters have until Friday to put their ballots in the mail to ensure they are received by the Pima County Recorder’s Office by Election Day, March 12.

Voters may also drop off ballots in person until 7 p.m. March 12 at three locations:

• Pima County Recorder’s Office, 115 N. Church Ave.

• Marana Town Hall, 11555 W. Civic Center Dr.

• Sahuarita Town Hall, 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way.

Voters who lost their ballots may order replacements by 5 p.m. Wednesday by calling 724-4330.

In Marana, 4,022 of 20,226 ballots have been received so far.

Marana voters will choose four town council members and answer two questions about whether the town should own and operate its own wastewater treatment plant.

In Sahuarita, 2,837 of 13,649 ballots have been received. Sahuarita voters will choose four town council members.
