Today is election day in Congressional District 8 to pick the person to complete the term of former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Three candidates are vying for the seat: Republican Jesse Kelly, Democrat Ron Barber and Green Party candidate Charlie Manolakis. The winner will serve out the remaining six months of Giffords' term.

Polls will be open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. today.

If you didn't vote early, here is what you need to know about election day:

• If you're uncertain where to vote, you can find your polling place at www.recorder.pima.gov/public/voter_info.aspx

• For info about polling locations or ID requirements, call 724-4330.

• If you ordered an early ballot and haven't yet sent it in, it is too late to mail it in, but you can hand-deliver it to any polling place or drop it off at one of the Pima County Recorder's Offices in Tucson - 115 N. Church Ave. or 6550 S. Country Club Road. Both of those offices are open from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m. today.

• To vote, you'll need a government-issued photo ID with your current address, such as an Arizona driver's license or tribal enrollment card. If you do not have a photo ID, you'll need two other documents with your name and address dated within 90 days of the election, such as a utility bill, bank statement or property-tax statement.

For a full list of ID requirements, go to www.pima.gov/elections/ID%20polls.htm
