Today the Star begins a series of live Q&A chats with candidates.

It's your chance to address questions directly to the candidates who are seeking to serve out the remainder of the term in Arizona's 8th Congressional District. That is the seat vacated by U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, a Democrat.

Go to live.azstarnet.com to find links to all the Star's scheduled chats. Upcoming political chats include:

• CD 8 Republican candidate John Lervold, noon today.

• CD 8 Republican candidate Dave Sitton, noon Friday.

• CD 8 Republican candidate Martha McSally, noon Feb. 28 (rescheduled).

• CD 8 Democratic candidate Ron Barber, noon March 1.

• Editor's note: CD 8 Republican candidate Frank Antenori confirmed, after deadline, that he will participate at noon Feb. 29.

All the announced candidates have been offered the opportunity to participate. Additional candidates will be added to the schedule as soon as they can confirm dates.

The chats are conducted on your computer through a web browser page, using typed questions and answers. If you are not able to participate while the chat is live, you can return to live.azstarnet.com later to view the transcript.

Android, iPhone and Kindle Fire users who have downloaded the free Arizona Daily Star mobile app can also participate in the chats. Find the chats under Mobile Extras on the apps.
