Tucson’s decision last week to pass a holiday honoring Cesar Chavez bumped its official paid holiday count to 11.

The move put them one holiday ahead of Pima County, but they still don’t lead the region. That distinction goes to Oro Valley, which gives its employees 12 paid holidays.

All municipalities shut down on major holidays. Most of the differences exist among those that decide to remain closed the day after Thanksgiving or offer a floating holiday.

The chart lists the holidays various governments grant to their employees each year.
