Two neighborhoods will get chip seal and fog seal treatments for cracked roads.

The Pima County Board of Supervisors OK'd the work contracts Tuesday. The work will be done by the end of June, said Priscilla Cornelio, Transportation Department director.

A $575,520 Sahuarita Heights-area project will include parts of South Delgado, South Country Club, East Dawson and South Santa Rita roads, and parts of South Alvernon Way and South Columbus Boulevard.

A $137,520 project in the Drexel Heights area includes repairs for the Sunset Acres neighborhood, which is near Vesey Elementary School and the intersection of South Sunset Boulevard and West Irvington Road.

The money is part of a $5 million pavement preservation program.
