Pima County residents are being asked to submit their best ideas on a number of new subjects as part of Pima Prospers, the 10-year update of the county’s Comprehensive Plan.

New topics include improving transportation, how to keep young people living and working in Pima County, becoming a more pet-friendly community, supporting our aging population, family health, and increasing the amount of affordable housing.

More than 1,000 people have visited the county’s website, PimaProspers.com, since it launched in October.

The county got roughly 500 ideas during Tucson Meet Yourself in October, and has held 11 community meetings.

Officials will be working on the update to the county’s Comprehensive Plan through 2014.
