A team of Air Force claims representatives will meet this week with property owners affected by last week's sonic boom.

The meetings will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Friday at the Murphy-Wilmot Library, 530 N. Wilmot Road.

The sonic boom occurred Friday afternoon as aircraft practiced for the Thunder and Lightning Over Arizona 2012 air show at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base.

The incident affected different areas of midtown, where dozens of people called 911 to report their homes and businesses shook.

Some reported property damage, mainly broken windows.

The representatives will assist with filing claims, provide claims forms and answer questions.

To file a claim, bring proof of ownership of the damaged property, a receipt for repair or estimate for needed repairs and photographs of the damage, if possible.

People will need to bring two estimates if the damage is more than $1,000.

For information, call 954-0146.
