A motorcyclist who crashed with a car in Marana over the weekend died Monday, authorities reported.

Patrick Donaldson, either 30 or 31 years old, died from his injuries at University of Arizona Medical Center, said Capt. Adam Goldberg, a Northwest Fire District spokesman.

Donaldson, who was not wearing a helmet, crashed around 7 p.m. Saturday with the car on Cortaro Road at Cerius Stravenue, near Cortaro and Interstate 10, Goldberg said.

The car was driven by a 71-year-old woman who suffered minor injuries, said Goldberg.

No citations have been issued in the case, which remains under investigation, said Goldberg. No further information was immediately available.
