Try variety of tortillas at presidio festival

Experience the art of tortilla-making and celebrate Mexican culture at the Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at the Fort and Tortilla Festival from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Presidio San Agustín de Tucson, 133 W. Washington St.

Enjoy live music, folk dances, an art exhibit, and sample a variety of tortillas, including vegan and mesquite flour.

The event is free and open to the public.

Dedication ceremony for 59 east-side trees

Join Tucson Clean and Beautiful for a tree-dedication ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon May 10 at Pantano River Park at Michael Perry Park, 8700 E. Arbor St.

Each of the 59 trees to be dedicated was purchased by Tucson-area residents, honoring friends and relatives.

Over the next several years, 570 trees will be added along the Pantano Wash. Trees are available for purchase through Tucson Clean & Beautiful for $225 each.
