Tucson's northwest side got the brunt of Tuesday's storms.

The National Weather Service said 2 inches of rain fell in Marana, Oro Valley received about 1.2 inches and Dove Mountain received nearly 2 inches by late afternoon.

Unofficial rain gauges showed about 2 inches falling in the SaddleBrooke area north of Tucson.

Nearly everyone got some rain, with areas south and west of Tucson also seeing significant rain. The Tucson International Airport recorded .21 of an inch of rain as of 5 p.m., according to the weather service.

The rain flooded some streets and forced Saguaro National Park West unit to temporarily close several roads, but the park remained open to visitors. Check the park's Facebook page for updates on the road closures.

Expect scattered thunderstorms for the next several days.
