Free screening of 'The Rookie' set

Late spring nights and baseball go well together, as do late spring nights and baseball movies.

Oro Valley is taking a swing at the latter by showing a free screening of "The Rookie."

The 2002 drama, which stars Dennis Quaid as a high school baseball coach who works his way up to the Major Leagues, will screen at 7:30 p.m. June 15 at James D. Kriegh Park, 23 W. Calle Concordia.
