Ironwood Ridge High School will host the Relay for Life of Oro Valley. A fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, the event starts at 5 p.m. Oct. 5 and continues through the next morning.

Relay teams will camp out overnight and take turns walking the track to symbolize that cancer never sleeps. The cost is $5 for a team walk and free for cancer survivors. The school is at 2475 W. Naranja Drive.
