Free Admission for Military - Tohono Chul, 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. This summer Tohono Chul is again joining museums across the country to offer free admission to all active-duty military and their families. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. daily through Sept. 2. 742-6455.

Honey Bee Canyon Park Birding Walk - Honey Bee Canyon Park, 13880 N. Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Join birding expert Jeff Babson for a guided bird walk in Honey Bee Canyon to spot Gambel's quail, verdin, gnatcatchers and other birds of the Southwest desert.
