If you're in the market for a new pet, the Pima Animal Care Center has no shortage of friendly, furry animals.

The county-run shelter is open seven days a week - noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

It's at 4000 N. Silverbell Road. For more information, including adoption costs and how to volunteer at the shelter, go to www.pimaanimalcare.org or call 243-5900.

Be sure to ask about the reduced adoption prices on certain pets.

All the pets featured here have been spayed or neutered and have had their shots.

Be sure to take the pet ID number listed with the animal if you go to PACC to see a particular pet.
