Public invited to Blessing of the Animals

People and their pets are invited to a Blessing of the Animals service at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church.

The service will be held in the outside labyrinth on the southern end of the church campus, 1431 W. Magee Road.

Well-behaved animals of all kinds, on leashes or in carriers or cages, are welcome.

An individual blessing for each animal will be included. Participants may decorate their pets’ collars, leashes or carriers .

Donations will be accepted. A pet photographer will be available to take free photos.

If your animal’s behavior, health or size does not lend itself to attending, you may bring a photograph. For more information contact the church office at 297-2062 or
