The Pima Animal Care Center, 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is always looking for volunteer adoption counselors and dog walkers.

If you’re interested in volunteering, fostering or adopting, check out the Pima Animal Care Center page on Facebook: tinyurl.com/paccpets

The county-run shelter, at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, is open seven days a week — noon-7 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, except the last Sunday of the month.

Adoption fees are $30 for January, with fees waived for pets that have been in the shelter two weeks or that are seniors, except for the $15 dog registration fee.
