Vocalist Julie Anne and a band led by Eric Westfall will present “A Salute to Burt Bacharach” from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Tohono Chul Park, 7366 N Paseo del Norte. $25 in advance; $30 at the door; $20 members; $15 students with ID. 230-8910.

2. April 26

Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge No. 2815, 16045 N. Oracle Road, is hosting a fundraiser for Special Olympics featuring a Washer Board tournament at noon, karaoke contest at 2 p.m., entertainment by the Coyote Country Cloggers at 3:30 p.m., a live auction with Pork Chop from KIIM FM radio at 4:30 p.m. and live music with Jason Curtis at 5:30 p.m. Also, raffles, silent auctions, tethered balloon ride. 3. April 26

The 32nd Annual Solar Potluck runs 10 a.m.-8 p.m. at Catalina State Park, 11570 N. Oracle Road. Featuring solar-cooked food (provided all day), solar displays, speakers and musicians on stage powered by solar energy. A solar potluck dinner will start at 5 p.m.; bring a dish, beverage or ice to share and your own plate and silverware. Free; $7 parking per car. 258-8540.

4. April 28

Staff and faculty from the Marana Unified School District, students from Mountain View and Marana high schools along with alumni and community members will present the Marana Winds Community Concert at 7 p.m. at Mountain View High School’s auditorium, 3901 W. Linda Vista Blvd. Free. 682-3243.

5. April 30

Kids can build a catapult and see how far it flings things at an event from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Woods Memorial Library, 3455 N. First Ave. Free. 594-5445.
