The Fifth Annual CCC Recognition Day at Saguaro National Park West, 2700 N. Kinney Road, will run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include appearances by Civilian Conservation Corps historians, displays of newspapers, photos and memorabilia, and book signings, guest speakers and documentaries. Free. 733-5158.

Citizens for Picture Rocks volunteers will gather at 8 a.m. to clean up roadside litter as part of Pima County’s Adopt-A-Roadway program. The group provides safety vests, tools and lunch for volunteers and will meet at the Picture Rocks Community Center, 5615 N. Sanders Road. Volunteers age 14 and older are welcome.
