Art Attack AZ is planning a three-day arts and crafts festival at 10325 N. La Cañada Drive featuring yard art, ceramics, jewelry, photography, wearable art and oil paintings. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Free to browse. 481-8001.

2. Saturday

Celebrate the planet with an educational show from Mad Science followed by making take-home bird seed hangers, decorating flower pots and planting flowers during Earth Day with Mad Science at 1 p.m. at Bookmans, 3733 W. Ina Road. Free. 579-0303.

3. Saturdays

Read, sing, dance, play and learn at Family Storytime at Woods Memorial Library, 3455 N. First Ave. For accompanied children of all ages, storytime is 11-11:45 a.m. Free. 594-5445.

4. April 18

The Spring Boing Bash at Vision Church, 7511 N. Benet Drive, will include live music, food trucks, jumping castles, games, prizes, face painting, a dunk tank and cotton candy. It’s 5:30-8:30 p.m. Free. 572-5235.

5. April 23

Learn about the lives of the Southwest’s Harris hawks from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Tohono Chul Park, 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. Included with $8 admission. 742-6455.
