1. May 8

ForTheLuvvaMusic will present piano, vocal, jazz and R&B as part of the Oro Valley Concert Series from 6 to 7 p.m. at Oro Valley Marketplace, 12155 N. Oracle Road. The free show is outdoors. Bring your own chair. 797-3959.

2. May 9

Get into Tohono Chul Park for free on National Public Gardens Day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is at 7366 N. Paseo del Norte. 742-6455.

3. May 10

From 8 a.m. to noon American Legion Auxiliary Oro Valley Unit 132 will hand out paper poppies made for and by veterans at the Oro Valley Farmers Market, Steam Pump Ranch Oro Valley, 10901 N. Oracle Road. Donations benefit hospitalized and disabled veterans and their families in Arizona. Vets will be handing out poppies from 8 a.m. to noon. Free; donations accepted. 229-1064.

4. May 12

The Tucson Girls Chorus Advanced Choir will join the Alumnae Choir from 7 to 8 p.m. at Casas Adobes United Church of Christ, 6801 N. Oracle Road. Free. 577-6064.
