Kids at Harriett Johnson Primary School learned safety skills and a few firefighting techniques at the 15th anniversary of the Drexel Heights Fire District Mini Muster.

According to Tracy Koslowski of DHFD, "The program was originally developed in 1987 through a collaboration of Tucson area teachers and firefighters. The target audience is second graders who have completed a series of fire safety lessons in the classroom. Their reward for completion is an outdoor field event which is set-up by Drexel Heights Fire District at their school. The kids are then able to practice the skills they learned about in the classroom lessons."
