Sections of the Scenic Bajada Loop Drive in Saguaro National Park West District have been damaged again by heavy rains and will need to be repaired.

All of Hohokam Road in the park except for the section leading to the Sus Picnic Area is closed, according to a news release from the park.

The trailhead of Hugh Norris Trail, a popular hiking spot, will be inaccessible until the roads are re-opened.

Maintenance crews will work on fixing the washed out roads today and Friday morning and anticipate having all roads opened by 2 p.m. Friday.

The park is open to visitors.
