Fire crews extinguished a small human-caused fire along Redington Pass Road Sunday.

It's the second human-caused fire in the area in nine days, according to a news release from the U.S. Forest Service.

Sunday's fire was reported around 8 a.m. near mile post 7 on Redington Pass Road, and was contained to two acres, the release said.

Current fire restrictions on National Forest lands ban smoking, building a fire, target shooting, and using pyrotechnics, the release said.
