A 17-year-old driver was killed in a single-vehicle rollover in Corona de Tucson Saturday.

Shortly before 7 p.m., Devlen Crown was driving northbound in the 17900 block of South Houghton Road, south of Sahuarita Road, at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the car and rolled it, Deputy Tracy Suitt, a Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesman, said in a news release.

An 18-year-old passenger was taken to a trauma center with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Neither teen was wearing a seat belt, the release said.
