A 22-year-old Tucson man was killed Sunday night in a one-car crash on the city’s southeast side, police said.

Daniel Jacob Drakin Hart was killed when the 1988 Chevrolet Capris he was driving smashed into a concrete pole, fire hydrant and a metal utility pole about 9:45 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve in the 2100 block of South Pantano Road near East Golf Links Road, Sgt. Chris Widmer, said in a Tucson police news release.

Hart was the sole occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police continue to investigate.
