For many Tucsonans, it felt like this summer would never end, but we've finally made it.

The autumn equinox starts at noon today and we'll be kicking it off right, with daytime temperatures across the southeast part of the state running close to or below the seasonal average.

Cooler temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend and into early next week.
