A woman who wandered away from her southwest-side home Tuesday afternoon was found later that night.

Edith Vasquez, 48, who suffers from dementia, left her home in the 2600 block of West Kerry Drive about 3:35 p.m., and was found by Tucson police officers just after 10 p.m. said Deputy Tom Peine, a sheriff’s department spokesman.

"She was in good health and reunited with her husband," Peine said in a news release.
