The Victim Services Division of the Pima County Attorney's Office is recruiting community volunteers to serve as advocates for crime victims.

Victim advocates support crime victims by responding to individual crime scenes and large-scale incidents.

Residents interested in learning more about volunteer opportunities with the Victim Services Division and how Victim Services helps people can attend one of two information sessions on Tuesday, Aug. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. or Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Both sessions will be held at the Tucson Police Department Substation, 1310 W. Miracle Mile.

Call (520) 740-5525 for more information about volunteering and to sign up for one of the information sessions.
