Adopt-A-Resident: A recently opened behavioral-health unit is seeking volunteers to be a pen pal or send a birthday or holiday gift or card to one of its residents. Must be 18 or older. Groups or individuals are welcome to volunteer.

Event assistant: Many hands are needed before, during and after a charity auction: Sell raffle tickets, transport art-auction items and help with event setup, inventory and event logistics.

Food-drive helpers: Join the team and help support the community and the annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive by assisting with food donations.

Assemble sensory baskets: Sensory baskets are themed and geared toward residents' needs and interests, such as cooking and sewing. They are used during reminiscing and sensory-modulation groups. Help gather the needed items to include in the baskets. Groups or individuals are welcome.
