A wildfire that burned nearly 19,000 acres in the Coronado National Forest near Safford in southeastern Arizona now is 100 percent contained.

The lightning-caused Grapevine Fire began Thursday and burned at low elevation in grass and brush.

Late Tuesday afternoon, a half-inch to three-quarters of an inch of rain fell on fire area, helping crews contain the blaze, the U.S. Forest Service said.
