LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles police say they are seeking two people believed to be involved in the abduction of a 10-year-old girl who was missing for nearly 12 hours before she was dropped off at a hospital.
LAPD Capt. William Hayes said Wednesday night that after interviewing the girl, police are looking for an 18-year-old man and a second person they did not describe.
Hayes says two vehicles were likely involved in the abduction, and investigators may have recovered one.
He says the suspects were not known to the girl, and investigators don’t know why she was taken from her bedroom early Wednesday.
Hayes says she was dropped off at the hospital and wandered a few blocks to a strip mall, where she was found outside a Starbucks shop.
