New Pima Community College Chancellor Lee Lambert sat down last month with the Star's editorial board to give his early impressions of the school and what he will focus on as school starts this week.

Former Chancellor Roy Flores resigned last year after eight women accused him of sexual harassment and in April the Higher Learning Commission put PCC on probation. Among the problems cited in the HLC report were corrupt contracting and hiring practices, unethical behavior by executives and Governing Board members, and mishandling of sexual harassment claims against Flores.

Failing to make the specified changes could cause PCC to lose accredited status.
