A point to share is ANY medical condition may be considered a "pre-existing condition", and thus exclude you from being able to purchase health insurance, at least before the Affordable Care Act implementation. When I first trying to purchase individual insurance, I had had coverage from the same local provider for 26 of my 52 years, literally half my life. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol levels, we'll managed by medication for years and years. When shopping for personal insurance, I turned to this same company, assuming that with 26 years of my health records in their computer systems, they knew more about my good health than I could ever recall or share on forms - I had assumed quick and easy insurance coverage. I was turned down for pre-existing conditions. Congress, why are you cheering going back to this? Congresswoman McSally, please explain your vote.
