The problem with the "promise fulfilled" by Representative McSally is that it was not the right direction for health care in this country. She did nothing but parrot the Republican talking points that the ACA was "collapsing under its own weight," which is not true. If the ACA has problems it is because the congressional Republicans refused to appropriate money as needed in the law, and Republicans in state legislatures refused to expand Medicare, which could have helped millions. If McSally is serious about improving healthcare she would fix what is broken, rather than starting from scratch with a plan that would be detrimental to millions.
