Six-time Olympic gold medalist Amy Van Dyken-Rouen, a former Arizona Wildcat swimmer, posted video of herself walking for the first time after an ATV crash left her paralyzed below the waist in June.

Video and photo posted to her Instagram account show her standing and walking with help from an exoskeleton device for the first time since the crash.

"Here it is...I'm WALKING!!! #onestepatatime #itcouldhappen," Van Dyken-Rouen posted on her account Thursday.
